So, who is this Fury guy anyways?
Ive had a ton of callsigns in the past: Jag, Lion, Jaggernaut, Apache, Colt, DXC, Storm, etc. For awhile I went just by my first name because it sounded like a codename enough. But... some people thought that I needed a callsign. For 2 years I took a break from airsoft to serve the people of Southern California and I had no callsign whatsoever at this time period. But over a few weeks after I joined BAR a bunch of names came up like the mighty warrior Helaman or Preacher (I was against that one cause in most movies anyone with that callsign dies) but one day it hit me and Noble. I was to be known as Fury.
I felt like it fit me because I specialize in very aggressive play. One of my mottos is "high speed, low drag." I kick down doors and get in the Op4's face. I train to be fast and efficient in clearing rooms. I learned from a firearm instructor once ,"Contrary to popular belief slow and steady doesnt always win the race. Slow means freaking slow!" So obviously, I like to go fast. Im personally working on my patience levels because of my fast lifestyle but it fits in airsoft pretty well.
Any of the Special Operations groups out there will tell you to train like you fight. I try to live that way, I originally started airsoft cause I just thought it was fun, this was about 8 years ago. As I got older I started investing a bit more into airsoft because I was using it as training for a job I was looking at. I would train under former SFG operatives, Rangers, Marines, SEALs, CIA operatives and other units to see how I could improve my fighting skills. Not only did I learn from different individuals but from different environments as well. Ive played in Utah, Idaho, California, Arizona, Texas, Colorado and in Indonesia. Id like to think Ive learned a ton over this time and I definitely have airsoft to thank for that!
When you see me on the field I will normally be wearing my Multicammies in a lightweight loadout. I dislike helmets and Im not a fan of having tons of stuff on me, cause ounces equals pounds and pounds equals pain. The same logic goes for my Primary, the lighter the better. I also prefer my rifle barrels to be at least 12 inches or less. You'll never see me using an AK because Im racist against those varients. I prefer M4s, ACRs or SCARs. Sidearms are normally a 1911 type. But... I have a soft spot for Desert Eagles. They are definitely against my mantra of high speed, low drag but... Desert Eagles are sexy so I run 2 of them sometimes! I am all about efficiency but sometimes a guy just needs to look good! Which is why I want to get a hold of some Kryptek Highlander!
Overall I just love airsoft! Its helped me grow a few ways and improved my ability to speak with people. Let's face it, you cant really airsoft if you dont make any friends. Its possible but then the games kind of get a little boring over time. But thats why I joined Black Angels Recon, not only are we super organized but we love to have fun! There are true friendships made between our Angels and we really do care about each other! Its really a huge family!
But thats enough about me! Let me know what you thought of this post and what youd like to see in the future! Thank you for your support! Until next time...
