Boy am I glad that I was wrong! We had a very healthy turnout and had around 45 players for the day. Sure, it was a bit smaller than what we are used to but it was still a blast to play.
We did a few different gametypes and really had to exercise our minds as well as our bodies fo figure out how to achieve our objectives. The first game we played was called "Lone Ranger", in which we designated 2 rangers and their objective was to kill everyone on the opposing team. Once a player from the opposing team fell then he had to switch sides to the Ranger team. I really have to hand it to the original Rangers. They really tore up the rest of us. That game definitely didnt last long!
I was very grateful for the very short breaks we had. I feel like at most places the breaks are a little too long. But orWe had enough time to refuel, load up on ammo, get hydrated and then we jumped back into the games!
We ran a quick team deathmatch round. It was suppose to last for 20 minutes but... it ended up becoming 50 minutes because Gunslinger doesnt know how to count.
For you COD fans we were able to play a real life version of Kill Confirmed. that was definitely a lot dfferent than what I am used to but it was still super fun! we played for 20 minutes but it seemed like it was forever. This was when I fell down a little hill. Notw to self: buy knee pads.
I had to bug out early around 12 because I had to get my car in the shop. Before I left, Daren Holt and his talented friend brought turkey and rolls for everyone to enjoy! He prepped for 28 because thats how many RSVPs we got on Facebook. We still had enough for everyone though. But this is a perk for registering online for our games! You never know what you get!
Make sure you register for next week's game! See you in the flight!
